I've mentioned that 2012 was a banner year for foliage in the Northeast Kingdom, and if you've been looking through this SceneSet, you've seen it for yourself first hand. With so much amazing color, it was hard to justify stopping to take pictures of individual trees -- I would never have been able to stop shooting! Yet even in a year of brilliant color, this tree was a standout, with leaves ranging from green through yellow, orange, red and even a deep burgundy-purple, all on the same branches.
