On our third full day we hired a private guide to take us into the interior of the island, to some of the less "touristy" spots that most visitors don't get to see. We didn't quite get around as much of the island as I had hoped, but did explore some interesting places that are usually the domain only of the residents.

This is a panorama of the north coast of Jamaica taken from a vantage point well known to locals; you can see how high up we were by how much of the sea is visible. The puffy clouds were ordered for the occasion and arrived just in time. :)
