One of the most distinctive glaciers of the Canadian Rockies, and another natural phenomenon named for its appearance. This image was taken looking up from well below the glacier, so it's not as easy to see the "angel" shape, though you can still make out the "left wing", "right wing" and "body".
Angel Glacier was named in the 1800s, when it was much larger. Like all Canadian Rockies glaciers, it is shrinking; since it was never very large to begin with, this glacier may completely disappear within a few decades.
