I loved the shape and coloring of this large boulder in Tenaya Creek; it's actually somewhat famous, and appears in a lot of photographs of the area.
Looking up, the little hump on the canyon wall top center is called Ahwiyah Point, where there was a large rockfall in 2009, estimated by the National Park Service at 115,000 tons of stone and debris. Rockfalls are a natural part of the local geology and occur every few years in Yosemite.
